Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use Aido (iPhone and web), why it is processed, and what your rights are. Your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we process
Account: an anonymous user ID; if you link your account, the email address and name you share through Apple or Google.
Plan data: your tasks, steps, durations, postponements, focus sessions, end-of-day notes and rhythm preferences (wake and sleep times, your most productive part of the day, session length).
Technical data: your time zone, language, app version and error logs. We don’t collect advertising identifiers and we don’t sell your data.
Calendar data
If you connect your calendar on iPhone, it is read on your device. Only busy time ranges (start and end) are sent to the server; event titles, attendees, locations and notes never leave your device. Busy ranges are used only for that planning request and are not stored. On the web, only free/busy information is read from Google Calendar.
Planning with AI
So the agent can suggest a plan, the text you type or say, the related tasks and your busy ranges are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic). This data is not used to train the provider’s models. If you plan by voice, your recording is processed to turn it into text and is not kept afterwards.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase for sign-in, Anthropic for AI, the Apple App Store and RevenueCat for subscriptions, and servers located in the European Union for hosting. These providers process your data only on our behalf and only to deliver the service.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, all your plan data is permanently deleted from our servers and backups within 30 days. Payment records we are legally required to keep are the exception.
Your rights
You can access and correct your data, export it as a single file from the app settings, and delete your account entirely. To object to processing or make any other request, write to hello@example.com; we reply within 30 days.
Children
Aido is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date above and let you know about significant changes in the app.
